PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS
To become a member of the Fellowship, men must successfully complete an orientation and development program that has been authorized by the National Office, and meet the Fellowship’s official membership qualifications, which are:


The general criteria for undergraduate membership includes:

*Submission of an official membership application;

*Current enrollment as a full-time student at a 4-year college or university, or current
enrollment as a full-time student at a 2-year junior college, community college, or
business school;

*No current or past memberships in other fraternities, except for those considered as an
academic or honorary type organization. Current or past memberships in organizations like
the Masons, Jaycees and Elks are acceptable;

*Submission of an initiation fee payment;

NOTE: In cases where the college or university's requirements are higher than those
listed above, the schools regulations shall take precedence.
The general criteria for graduate membership includes:

*Submission of an official membership application;

*Attainment and proof of a degree from a 4-year college degree, or proof of a 2-year
degree from a 2-year college (e.g., a junior college, community college, or business
school);
Note: Candidates without a 4-year degree, but who have proof of a minimum 2-year degree
may apply, but must be approved by the Regional Director.

NOTE: Candidates without a degree, but who have at least two completed college semesters,
may be considered for membership.

Indemnity Against Liability Provision

Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Inc. prohibits all forms of hazing and/or any acts
that may otherwise result in physical and/or mental harm to any individual engaged in an
organizational membership orientation or intake programs. All members of the Fellowship
understand and acknowledge that they hold the Fellowship free and harmless from any and
all liability resulting from their individual behavior in connection with their conduct,
behavior or actions involving in the initiation of men into the Fellowship.
